Transitional Housing
Transitional Housing
Sophia’s House provides single room occupied (SRO) housing offering residents a safe and stable environment. Each resident is required to maintain the upkeep of the house participating in daily and weekly chores. All resident living spaces/rooms are inspected daily.

Street Outreach
Street Outreach
Our volunteers "walk the streets" to assist kids in need. We provide food packages, hygiene products, first aid supplies, survival gear, and a shoulder for them to lean on in times of need. Often a child comes to the center, week after week, for a bite to eat and a bit of social activity. Every week, this young person will begin to open up to a counselor and let us know of his or her distress. Through a simple act of listening, we provide the most powerful help.

Case Management
Case Management
During the intake process, the participant is informed and given a copy of the program rules, their rights, and responsibilities and the grievance procedures. Each participant is required to sign a receipt stating that they have received, read, and understand the program rules. The Case Manager will assist with the development of the integrated service and treatment plans to address the resident’s identified needs. Each resident’s integrated and treatment plans are implemented within seven (7) days and throughout the program their progress is measured quarterly. The case manager's primary responsibility is to create linkages for the residents to receive appropriate services from community-and faith-based providers. Equally important, the case manager serves as an advocate for the participant increasing the “continuity of care” and follow up on the treatment plan goals.

Life Skills and Behavior Modification
Life Skills and Behavior Modification
Each resident is required to participate in life skills training workshops. These workshops include health and nutrition, household budgeting, learn and maintain appropriate personal hygiene, housekeeping skills, personal etiquette, financial literacy, establish or repair credit history, workplace behavior, conflict resolution, stress and anger management, and healthy relationships, and parenting skills.
